DPW Enterprises started doing business in 2001. After 12 years as a networking professional in industry, the owner began teaching Computer Network Security at a local college in 1998. Part of the job required teaching students how to build and administer web servers. Unfortunately, the curriculum didn't include anything on how to create and publish web sites.

Seeing this as a lack, she developed website design training materials for the students and realized that she really enjoyed designing and working with websites. As a result of the classes, a few people asked her to help them design their business website. A couple of others wanted her to maintain the sites as well. An enjoyable pastime became a part-time business.

We started offering hosting in 2001 basically as a service to our customers. With so many hosting companies available, it was hard for most people to find one that offered both fast and reliable service. DPW Enterprises deals with a state of the art data center.

The owner, Donna Warren has a BS in Electrical Engineering, an MS in Computer Science and has 18 years experience in Network Security and is a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer. She has been teaching networking at the college level since 1998 and is both a Certified Technical Trainer and a Microsoft Certified Trainer.

She earned her Certified Internet Webmaster Master Designer certification in 2004 and joined the HTML Writer's Guild. She also became a certified instructor for the CIW program.

In the of Spring 2005, the Company began operating on a full time basis.
